Fun Sunday
What better way to mark the end of the Sunday School year than by joining with other Sunday Schools for a fun afternoon. This is what happened in St. Andrew’s College organised by the Sunday School Society. The children gathered on a wet afternoon to be brightened up by fun and games.
There was plenty of noise, or was it music! As the children joined Gordon Douglas and ‘The Plumbers Guide to World Music’ for an alternative music session. Alternative because the music was being made by wavin piping!
The children went home proudly with their own wavin musical instrument. There was the team challenge which was based on team work which included raft races, magazine muddles to dodge ball.
For the creative there were craft sessions and a chance to take home your own pencil holder creation for the homework desk.
All this was topped up with time on the bungee run and super slide inflatables, face painting, soccer and plenty of refreshments.
