During April there were two training seminars with the aim of making ministry more effective and inclusive for all the children in our parishes.

The two seminars were led by Linda Wray, from The Presbyterian Board of Social Witness.
The lunchtime seminar was designed for clergy to examine the issues of how best to pastor and help children with special needs both in worship and as part of our Church communities.

The evening seminar was for those who minister with children in a Sunday School or Children’s club setting and looked at the best ways to include and not exclude children with special needs.

Both seminars both challenged and encouraged and were led very sensitively by Linda who sent everyone away with fresh eyes and ideas.
